Photo-catch-up

I'm finding it hard these days to find time to even get out the camera to take pictures of Ethan, much less, to update the blog.  So here's a brief update: since the last post, he's started Mother's Day Out, 2 days a week at church and he LOVES it, and it wears him out, which means usually a nice nap when he gets home:)  He is so busy these days, has perfected climbing, loves running, jumping, loves to be outside more than anything, seems to learn something new each day, is becoming more independent with eating, dressing, and stairs, seems to have boundless energy, and continues to bring so much joy to each day!  Here's a "photo-catch-up."

Fun in the Destin sun!

We've just returned from a beach trip with our friends, Tracy and Luann and their triplet daughters (our god-daughters).  While we've traveled lots with just Tracy and Luann, this was the first trip we've taken with their girls and Ethan, and we had such a fun time!  Ethan adores those girls; who wouldn't, they are gorgeous and they were so sweet and willing to play with him all day.  He totally thought he was as grown up as they were, and they were patient with his "toddlerness".  The house we stayed in had a pool literally outside the back door, and we swam A LOT!  Ethan got braver and braver in the pool, and tried his best to keep up with those girls! He also liked the beach, sand and ocean this time, so that was fun, and he loved the great nearby playground.  It was a wonderful relaxing trip, and we are so thankful to be able to spend time with great friends.  Here are a few pics from the week:
We had a great plan, I'd feed Ethan while Tyson loaded the car, and then he'd nap on the way down; he had a different plan, as he actually fell asleep during his lunch!

Snuggling with Liz!

Ellie helping push him in the swing

Loving on Daddy at the beach

Fun in the sand

Really Mom? this hat is driving me crazy!

This shovel is so fun!

Hmm, let's see if it works in the water?
Yep, there he is, sitting in the water as the "waves" come in; much bigger fan of the ocean than in June!

Look Ellie, do you see those "ducks"?

Mesmerized with the shovel

Beach Bum

Look at all those "ducks"!!

Someone's getting sleepy...

Can't I just walk right in this pool?

Fun in the pool

Loves the watering can

Daddy is so fun!

Love my daddy!
